Real Blues Jam
The Real Blues Jam is movin’ North
After an extremely successful run at The Libertine Pub in Morro Bay, The Real Blues Jam will be playin’ dem Blues in a great new venue, D’Anbino Cellars, in beautiful Paso Robles. The Real Blues Jam North, as it will now be called, will continue to be lead by Ted Waterhouse on Guitar, Slide Guitar & Vocals, Bruce Willard on Bass, and Dean Giles on Drums. “The exciting thing about this move,” says Waterhouse, “Is that it is a chance to play Real Blues in a totally professional room with world class sound engineering”. He is referring to Carmine Rubino, co-owner of D’Anbino Winery. In addition to producing world-class wines, Rubino is also an award-winning sound engineer and will be working the sound board during the jams.
All musicians are welcome regardless of experience. The only requirement is a focus on the Blues, Chicago, Delta or otherwise. Over the years the Blues Jam has attracted professional musicians who just want to have fun with their craft, Novices who want to experience playing and singing live with a solid band, and Music Lovers who just want to dance, have fun and support local, live music.
“It can get pretty loud & crazy”, Waterhouse admits with a laugh, “But when it starts cooking, it’s magic”
$5 minimum suggested donation goes to the band. Jammers are free. www.danbino.com
